ALUMINA
WHITE
SINTERED ALUMNA is a fully shrunk, high density, low porosity grains
made by sintering process using Reactive Alumina as raw material. The
result is a product with unique resistance to all hazard of high
temperature service. Crushed, ground and graded Sintered Alumina is the
principal ingredient for all high performance alumina refractories above
85% and up to 99%. These include fired shapes, low cement castables,
cement free castables, etc. This product is the outcome of landmark
research made by Passary Minerals Ltd. as it replaces costly tabular
Alumina. Sintered Alumina grains are made under closely controlled
manufacturing process and the refractories strength and volume stability
are similar to Tabular Alumina at high temperature also. It replaces fused
alumina due to its superior spalling resistance properties. Grading can be
made as per customer's requirement. Micro fine sintered Alumina is
produced in high alumina lined ball mill with superfine classifier.
